Local ministry background:
Hana grew up in a non-believing family. In her third year of high school, she met a group of Christians and experienced a strong personal conversion to God, which gave direction to the rest of her life. Her home church became the Christian Fellowship church, where she, by the way, works with children.

Together with her husband, she is a longtime supporter of the non-profit organization called National Pro-life Initiative, which is deeply based on Christian foundations. Working with the young generation appealed to her so much, that in the year 2022 she decided to get herself involved in the HY ministry team and became a HY Worker.
Thanks to her active involvement it is possible to meet growing demand of the schools for the specific HY programs in her region.

She comes to children and youth with topics of the series ‘For Life’. Her intention is to truthfully and respectfully present the value of human life and risk and consequences of abortion to students.

The HY programs are followed by offering of professional thematic counselling. She also applies her experience in counselling at children’s camps, where she is an integral part of the counselling team.

How she became a HY Worker:
For many years, Hana has been actively involved in children’s ministry. She cares about the direction of the young generation. That is why she accepted the offer to join the HY ministry team without hesitation.
Hana herself perceives her ministry in a broader context, as she herself states:
“To return respect for life and for the other person to the top of the value scale of each individual means to change the social and spiritual climate in society.”

 

Program topics and resource:
Hana works under the auspices of non-profit organization called National Pro-life Initiative. This organization is based on Christian foundations. It offers specific pro-life topics for higher classes of primary schools and for high schools and grammar schools.

The unplanned pregnancy
